Look out upon the Myriad Harbour...

Just a quick outfit post today as we're off out to see Andy's mum in about ten minutes! I am wearing a new dress which Andy bought for me yesterday - I love it! I think I need to practise my poses as I always look so uncomfortable in my outfit posts. I hate having my photo taken though, as you can probably see from these beauties...

Dress: Matalan
Jeans: Topshop
Boots: Asos
Necklace: Accessorize

I won't bore you all by listing my make-up, as you can see I'm not wearing very much anyway! Let's call it the natural look...

Also, I want to thank all of you lovely people for following my blog - I can't believe that 107 people are interested in my ramblings.

I've been keeping going with the Couch to 5km programme I mentioned a few weeks ago, apart from a week off whilst I was in hospital. I am in the middle of week four and absolutely loving it. Definitely check it out if running is something you're interested in but you're not quite sure where to start!

NOTD: ASOS Ciate Alexa and Andrea Fulerton Gemstone Topcoat

FIRSTLY - apologies for the hideous spaces between the text and pictures in this post, and the fact that the photos aren't aligned. I CANNOT sort it out! I blame Blogger.

Inspired by the lovely Kirsty at The Leopard Anchor, I decided to try my Andrea Fulerton Gemstone Topcoat over a dark navy shade, in my case ASOS Ciate Alexa. I am pretty sure that she actually used GOSH Rainbow in her NOTD, but I bought the Andrea Fulerton Gemstone shade as I couldn't find the GOSH colour anywhere and had heard that Gemstone was a pretty good dupe. You can find her post here. I haven't put a matte topcoat on yet as I am a little bit in love with the shininess! May pop the matte on tomorrow, depending on how I feel. As ever, photos are rubbish but give you some idea of the effect. I love it! Apologies for not tidying up my nails.

Also, should I press "confirm" on my Topshop order?

Well, these have really thrown a spanner in the works...

I posted a few days ago about some lovely Office wedges I'd seen. I haven't got round to buying them yet as it's my birthday next week and I am waiting to see if I get any birthday money! Just been browsing the ASOS website as I have a 20% off code and saw these beauties, which have really thrown a spanner in the works;

How lovely are they?! They are £60, so would be £48 after the 20% discount. Hmmm...

NOTD: Eyeko Rain

So I mentioned in my last post (or last but one, can't remember) that I bought a few nail polishes in the ASOS sale recently, and Eyeko Rain was one of them. I wore this last week. Lovely colour, but application was tricky and staying power was poor. It only lasted two days. Here's a (bad) picture;
I don't know if I'll buy any more Eyeko polishes to be honest, although they do have some unique colours and are very cheap. Hmmm.

ASOS order and shopping update...

Gosh, it's been AGES since I posted. Not sure why really! So, here's a little look at some of the things I've bought since I last blogged...I will point out here that I am not completely superficial, although I am fully aware this blog makes it look as if I am *blushface* Anyway, I took full advantage of the ASOS sale at the weekend and treated myself to five new nails polishes, costing me the grand total of £7.50 (including P&P). They arrived this morning, and I love them all. Here's a rubbish photo (left to right; Essie Bermuda Shorts (£2), Essie Mink Muffs (£2), Eyeko Rain (£1.25), Eyeko Nude (£1.25), Ciate Asos Paint Alexa (£1));

I also went shopping today. I had a dress to return to H&M (too big, didn't try it on) and they didn't have one in my size in stock, so I replaced it with a lovely beige and black striped jumper dress, a cream and black striped dress and a set of the cutest stud earrings I've seen in ages (squirrels, deer and other woodland animals). It came to the grand total of £28.97, and as the dress originally cost me £29.99, I ended up making a profit... I then went into Lush and treated myself to a Cinders ballistic, a Satsumo Santa ballistic, a Gingerbread House bubble bar slice and a So White ballistic. I always really like the Lush Christmas items, and could easily have spent much more this morning! The lovely SA also gave me samples of Ultralight moisturiser and Fair Trade foot lotion, which I am looking forward to trying. Saw a gorgeous jumper dress in Topshop that has definitely gone on the birthday list;

 A good day was had by all.
