NOTD: Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream
This is the shade I meant to buy last week when I bought Pure Turquoise. It looks quite pale in the bottle, but on my nails it's pretty much the same as the turquoise shade. When I think of blueberry ice cream, I think of a very pale, powder blue, but Barry M obviously think differently. Take a look...

I don't really like the Barry M ice cream shades for this reason. The colour names are very misleading!!! I absolutely love the colour though, and it looks gorgeous on you, but it's obviously not very ice-creamy!

The blue/turquoise/pure turquoise/whatever etc etc in the BM shades are all really similar but the rest of the Ice Cream shades are ace- even the yellow! I got the 'Pure Turquoise' and decided against completing the Ice Cream shade four-some (even though I wanted to PURELY cos I'm clearly OCD!!)
ReplyDeleteYou mean 'Pure Torquoise", Caz... ;) I have the mint green shade, I love it. I don't have any of the others though as I have similar ones from other ranges; pale yellow and pale lilac ones from Topshop, and a pale pink one from Urban Outfitters.

re: pastel pink, no idea really! I got the Barry M ice cream pink but it really is PALE. It looks OK but I think it needs to be more pink...somewhere inbetween your pink and my PALE pink would be perfect!
